In 2019 I collaborated with an Emmy-winning documentary director and spent 2 weeks in Southeast Asia capturing one of the most beautiful stories of redemption I had encountered. It wasn’t just about making a pretty film, but to carry the weight and depth of a brave girl’s story. This trip opened up my world to something bigger than me.
